"Companies proclaim water the next oil in a rush to turn resources into profit"
We should definitely start being more conscious of how we use water and practice ways to conserve instead of carelessly waste it. But, when it comes to companies like Nestlé that want to take water from being readily available as a free resource that is necessary to sustain life, and change it into a cash machine to feed their greed, it really grinds my gears! It makes me wonder how narrow minded can someone become when they realize they can take advantage of the need for water, being a fundamental necessity of life, just to make ridiculously large amounts of bank instead of figuring out how to change the world for the better. They should start using the already ridiculous amounts of profit they will continue to make, just carrying on with the way they operate already, to maybe, I don’t know, bring clean drinking water to 3rd world countries, or build a better way of life for people who live in Extreme poverty all over the world, or help develop better education systems that would ultimately advance the world as a whole and end up reducing and maybe eliminating violence and death on a global scale…
How about that train of thought?? How about we stop lining our pockets with green, or whatever color money happens to be in any other country, and we start lining our minds with thoughts and ideas that will help the bigger picture. We are one world. We all live here. And if we don’t Come Together as ONE, we will never advance as a species. We will never get past the repeated bloodshed. There will never be peace. We will Crumble as MANY.
This got deep because Nestlé, and companies like them, decided to make their pockets deeper and needed an excuse to fill them. But can you see what could be achieved if man was not so greedy..??
Check this out!! Great chart! I might not stick with the recommendations, but I’d give it a shot to see how it affects me. I fall into a lot of the categories here. Less so for the driving stuff, but my Phone is really the hub of everything.. News, music, video, communications, as it is for most people. So I completely understand why people feel like they are missing a limb when they forget, or think they’ve lost, their phones..
